Your days will include:

• Developing strong external and internal business relationships
• Monitoring on-time delivery of product to customers
• Reporting on Key performance indicators
• Coordinating Rail and Ocean Steamship transportation for International shipments
• Working with the logistics team and other departments to optimize loads
• Maintaining and negotiating rates with carriers
• Evaluating, analyzing, and reporting on carriers and lanes
• Identifying and resolving claims and service issues

To succeed in this role, you possess:

• Grade 12, Post-secondary in Supply Chain is an asset
• 3 years in Logistics industry – focus on international logistics preferred
• High attention to detail and organization
• Complex problem-solving skills and drive to act when problems arise
• Strong communication skills both over phone and electronically
• Analytical & Critical thinking – analyze information and using logic to address work related problems
