Manager of Accounting
Corporate Services Division
Under the general direction of the Director of Finance, the Accounting Manager performs a wide range of advanced accounting functions, financial and administrative support services, and is responsible for managing and directing employees working in the Finance Department with respect to the delivery of revenue collection and accounting services provided by the Department. The Finance Department endorses the Lean philosophy and requires all positions to incorporate and promote the
process within their functions and duties.
MANDATORY EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12, G.E.D., or Mature High School Diploma;
- CPA (Certified Professional Accountant) designation, or equivalent;
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- CMMA (Certified Manitoba Municipal Administrator)
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in a progressive leadership position (preferred)
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in the Department or similar operations (preferred)
- Experience working with collective agreements or corporate policies is an asset
- Municipal accounting experience is an asset

Position Conditions:
This is a full-time, permanent position of 36.25 hours per week.
Rate of Pay:
$89,308.93 - $96,358.92 – 2024 Annual Rates
