Duties:
Assist the Recruitment & Retention team in delivery of recruitment and student engagement initiatives:
- Deliver campus tours and the Student For A Day program
- Assist with on and off-campus recruitment initiatives, as needed, such as career fairs
- Maintain presence on BU Student Life social media
- Create posters and advertising to promote Recruitment & Retention events and programming
- Support Student Leader recruitment and data entry
- Administrative duties, such as data entry, mail outs, assembling recruitment packages, and tour reminders
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications/Experience:
- Enrolled at Brandon University with a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher at time of application
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated critical and creative thinking skills
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Knowledge of campus and community resources
- Respect for and enthusiasm about serving a diverse population
- Excellent computer skills (word processing, email, database management, spreadsheets)
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain social media presence
- Returning to studies at Brandon University in September 2020
