Sessional Instructor Opportunities – Physical Education

Description

The Faculty of Education is seeking qualified and experienced sessional instructors in the Bachelor of Physical Education Program to teach the following courses during the 2020-21 academic year. Due to COVID-19, courses may need to be delivered by distance (e.g. synchronous/asynchronous online). Courses will run based on sufficient enrollment and budgetary restrictions. Fall Term:

  • 05:153 Volleyball I – 1 cr hr
  • 05:178 Golf – 1 cr hr
  • 05:183 Baseball/Softball -1 cr hr

Winter Term:

  • 05:166 Badminton – 1 cr hr
  • 05:175 Dance – 2 cr hrs
  • 05:176 Resistance Training – 1 cr hr
  • 05:277 Inclusive Physical Activity – 3 cr hrs
  • 05:371 Sexual Health Education – 3 cr hrs

Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Master’s degree in a related field. Applicants must have successful teaching experience and relevant expertise in the specified area.

Salary: As of September 1, 2020, $2,068.33 per credit (or $6,205 per 3 credit hour course)
