THE ROLE
This position plays an important role providing quality client services to our military members and their families. We promote and encourage military members to financial plan, not only for themselves but their families as well. We believe that when members of the Canadian Armed Forces are able to take good care of themselves and their families, they can do better both at home and at work. You will have the important role to greets clients and potential clients, ascertain the nature of business and determine their needs. You will be liaising with clients, advisor and fund companies to facilitate trade requests. You will need to be a compassionate, empathetic and detail-oriented person who possess strong listening and oral communication skills to be successful in this role. Patience, a passion for helping people and being a team player are also essential attributes. Each day you will make a difference in the lives of clients and will be contributing to improving the quality of life for our military.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses High school diploma AND several years of experience in Financial Services Administration
Experience
• In providing administrative services in a financial planning, counselling and/or insurance environment
• In office administration
• In maintaining filing systems
• In proofreading
• In data entry, data manipulation, record-keeping and retrieval techniques
• In drafting correspondence and reports
Competencies, Skills and Abilities Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS English Essential, Bilingual an asset Reading: Functional Writing: Functional Oral: Functional

OTHER INFORMATION SISIP Financial operates 22 branches across Canada offering guidance and expertise by certified financial planners to assist CAF members and their families with their short and long-term financial goals. SISIP Financial provides a holistic approach to financial planning, investing, insurance and counselling services to the Canadian military community.
Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC), an asset.
This is an on-site position.
The selection process will be done virtually.
SISIP office operational hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
This is a term position from 22 August 2022 to 14 October 2022.

Salary: 17.20 - 21.69 CAD Per Hour
Location: Shilo, Manitoba
