Wastewater Operator in Training

Our growing company is searching for top talent to join our team in the role of Wastewater Operator in Training, reporting to the Facility Manager. This opportunity is located in the community of Neepawa.

Your days will include:

• Assist Wastewater Operators
• Collect and record operational data
• Collects samples for in house and third-party lab testing
• Perform lab analysis
• Perform general housekeeping & maintenance throughout the facility
• Inspect and report audible or visible deficiencies in mechanical equipment
• Handle hazardous materials while following SDS protocols

To succeed in this role, you possess:

• Current OIT/Level 1 Wastewater Treatment Operator Certificate or working towards
• Laboratory experience preferred
• College or University education in Waste and Wastewater Treatment or Environmental Science preferred
• St. John’s Ambulance First Aid/CPR Course
• Valid driver license
• The ability to work day & evening shifts including weekends
