2026/2027, Fall and Winter Terms, Course-Based Opportunities – School of Music

Brandon University is seeking Contract Academic instructors in the School of Music to teach the following courses:

Course # – Course Title – Credit Hours

65:208 – Small Ensemble (Percussion) – .75 credit hours (fall term)

65:209 – Small Ensemble (Percussion) – .75 credit hours (winter term)

Qualifications: Master’s degree in music is required, relevant teaching experience preferred. Equivalent traditional/experiential career paths will also be considered. For more information on establishing a traditional/experiential equivalency, please contact Leanne Zacharias at zachariasl@brandonu.ca. Preference may be given to applicants who are available to teach in both terms.

Salary: $2,033 per .75 credit hour course

Fall Term: September 9, 2026 to December 23, 2026

Winter Term: January 5, 2027 to April 26, 2027
