2026/2027, Fall Term, Course-Based Contract Opportunity, Sapotaweyak Cree Nation Site, B.Arts/B.Ed Integrated Program – Faculty of Education
The Faculty of Education is seeking qualified, Contract Academic Staff to teach the following three credit hour course in-person at the Sapotaweyak site during the Fall session of 2026. The instructors will be responsible for content delivery with expectations consistent with offerings of this course within the appropriate department. Qualified candidates must possess strong teaching, communication and organizational skills, and demonstrate evidence of teaching effectiveness.
62.091 Core Math (class schedule to be determined)
This course is intended for students who are conscious of deficiencies in their mathematical training and who wish an opportunity to remedy these before enrolling in Contemporary Mathematics or Introduction to Statistics. Topics studied include a review of arithmetic, elementary algebra, and basic geometry; algebra of polynomials; measurement; basic statistics; linear graphs; right triangle trigonometry; solving systems of two equations.
Qualifications: Applicants should hold a minimum of a Master’s degree in an area related to the topic of instruction. Applicants may seek to establish an experiential/traditional equivalency to the Master’s degree and are invited to contact the Chair of the Selection Committee at the address below on how to establish equivalent academic or professional credentials.
Salary: $8132.00 per 3 credit hour course
