Duties:
– Gain proficiency and expertise in the field of topological data science.
– Engage in reading research papers and analyzing real-world datasets.
– Conduct original research, including writing academic papers and summarizing research progress.
– Attend meetings to collaborate and share insights.
– Participate actively in discussions related to ongoing research.
– Study and review relevant materials in mathematics and data science.
– Fulfill any additional tasks necessary to support the research project-as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:
– Currently enrolled in the Bachelor’s degree program in mathematics or a related field at Brandon University.
– Strong academic performance in mathematics courses, with a high GPA.
– Aptitude and enthusiasm for mathematics and its applications.
– Effective written and verbal communication skills.
– Work autonomously and collaboratively with peers, to produce written materials such as research papers or surveys.
– Prior knowledge in topology and group theory is advantageous but not a requirement.
