Duties:

  • Assist in the execution of a research dissemination event.
  • Assist in preparing displays and interactive exhibits for the research dissemination event.
  • Assist in monitoring the research event.
  • Maintain communications and outreach to research partners.
  • Determine community partners/sponsors for research dissemination event.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience: 

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability for flexible work hours depending on project timelines.
  • Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience working with community partners.
  • Experience creating public art and interactive exhibits
  • Experience with creative expression (painting, Indigenous Art and Drawing, Digital Media and Design).
  • Proficiency with microsoft office, canva, and/or other programs for documentation, visual content creation, and labeling exhibition material.

 

  • Knowledge of women’s studies, gender-based violence, and/or trauma informed practice is an asset.
  • Applicant is required for in-person meetings and exhibits in Brandon Manitoba.
