KEY DUTIES:
The Research Assistant will work closely with Dr Robels and the BCDI team and RDI, Brandon University. They will be responsible for:
- Assist with the supporting and organizing BCDI Scholar travels and supports;
- Highlighting BCDI Scholar and project activities and outcomes;
- Participate in regular team meetings;
- Assist with drafting a summary report
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Enrolled in the 4th year of an undergraduate program or a Master’s program at Brandon University and interested in rural community development;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to receive direction, follow through according to timelines, and work independently;
- Effective and professional communication skills and experience;
- Project skills such as reporting and work planning are a strong asset;
- High level of digital and technological skills;
- This position requires cross-cultural experience
