Student Leaders are BU students just like you! You can join from any faculty and any program to help out at campus events and activities. Student Leader volunteers are essential to help make events like Orientation, Info Night, Motiv8 a huge campus success. You can also help with future-student events like the Western Manitoba Science Fair and the Brandon Career Symposium.

Get recognized! Students who volunteer 20 hours or more will earn:

  • Service Learning notation on your University transcript;
  • Reference letter useful for future employment, education and scholarship/bursary applications;
  • Access to professional development training and student employment opportunities;
  • Network expansion: connect with BU staff, Faculty and community members;
  • Opportunities to have fun and form new friendships while making a difference on our campus!

We’re recruiting Student Leaders for 2020–21 and we’re looking for people like you! New Student Leader Training begins March 2020! Student Leaders gain recognition and experience, while making connections and lifelong friendships.
