Certificate in Public History
The Certificate in Public History (CPH) provides students with the necessary practical and theoretical skills to become effective and engaged public historians.
In addition to providing students with essential and advanced knowledge of public history and its many forms, the CPH opens broader employment opportunities locally, nationally, and beyond, where having public history research, writing, and project development and management skills and experience may be an asset, such as government positions, education, business, and health.
If students have met the minimal course requirements, they have the option to ladder their certificate into an undergraduate degree at BU.
