Alternate Format
SAS obtains or creates alternate formats of textbooks and course materials for students with print disabilities or print accessibility related needs. Individual student needs and preferences are taken into account when determining appropriate formats. Alternate formats include:
- Electronic Formats (word or pdf)
- Audio
- Large print
- Coloured paper
- Braille
If you require alternate format materials, submit an online request as soon as possible to ensure you receive your materials in a timely manner. Requests may take up to one week to process.
You will be required to submit copies of your receipts to demonstrate proof of purchase.
Students will receive their requested materials via a secure OneDrive link sent to their BU student email.
