Program Cost and Activation

Program Cost

SAS offers Genio licenses to approved students for a low cost ($75.00 per term). Students will be invoiced for the cost of the software at the end of each term.

Students trialing the program for a two-week period will not be charged in the event they choose to discontinue use.

New to Genio Notes?

If you have not used Genio Notes previously, you will receive an email from hello@genio.co inviting you to activate your account. You’ll also receive an email from SAS with important details about your free trial.

Once you have set up your account, you will need to go to https://app.genio.co/to sign into the program using your BU email. Bookmark the link in your browser for easy access in the future.

You will have access to the program for a two-week free trial. If you wish to extend your license for the remainder of the term, please complete an activation request.

Returning Users

If you are a returning student who used Genio Notes (formerly Glean) previously and wish to renew your license for the Winter 2026 term, simply submit an Activation request. Activation requests must be submitted on a term-by-term basis.
