You can use YuJa Panorama in Moodle to create accessible versions of learning materials. Follow the steps below to generate the format that works best for you.

Note: YuJa Panorama works in the web version of Moodle (using a browser such as Chrome, Edge, or Firefox).It does not integrate with the Moodle mobile app.

Step 1: Open your course in Moodle.

Step 2: Select the Alternative Formats icon to the right of the file.

Step 3: Hover over your preferred format from the Alternative Formats Menu and select ‘View’ or ‘Generate.’

At this point, Panorama will generate the new version. Once it is ready, you can view or download it to your device.

Your DocHub is your private space in YuJa Panorama where you can upload files to convert them into formats that meet your learning needs. Follow the steps below to upload a file and generate an alternative format.

Step 1: Visit Panorama’s DocHub and sign in with your BU Single Sign-On.

Step 2: Click ‘Upload’ or drag and drop a file from your computer.

Step 3: Hover over your preferred format from the Alternative Formats Menu and select ‘View’ or ‘Generate.’

At this point, Panorama will generate the new version. Once it is ready, you can view or download it to your device.

The Website Accessibility Widget helps you personalize how university and Moodle webpages look and function. You can choose from preset accessibility profiles or adjust colours, fonts, and spacing to make pages easier to read and navigate. Follow the steps below to start using the Accessibility Widget.

Step 1: Go to a page on the university website or in Moodle.

Step 2: Select the Accessibility Widget icon, located in the lower right corner of the page.

Step 3: Choose a profile (for example, Dyslexia, Visually Impaired, ADHD, or Colour Blind) or adjust individual settings such as contrast, font size, line spacing, or cursor size.

Step 4: Save your profile so your preferred settings apply automatically each time you visit.
