Brandon University supports the Office of the Vice President of Research & Graduate Studies through more than $250,000 in annual funding, ensuring that faculty and students have the resources needed to pursue innovative research. The university also provides dedicated physical space for researchers, graduate students, and laboratories, fostering an environment where collaboration and discovery thrive. Additionally, institutional support from ensures that research projects run smoothly, with essential administrative and operational services. This comprehensive support system strengthens Brandon University’s commitment to advancing research and graduate education.
Research Support Fund
The Tri-Agency Research Support Fund assists Brandon University with the costs associated with managing the research enterprise, helping to maintain a world-class research environment. The grant is used to:
- maintain modern labs and equipment;
- secure research from threats;
- provide access to up-to-date knowledge resources;
- provide research management and administrative support;
- meet regulatory and ethical standards; and
- transfer knowledge from academia to the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
Over $500,000 is invested each year at Brandon University to support researchers, collaboration and breakthrough science.
