1. Customer Service Standard

The Customer Service Standard online training

Customer Service Online Training

The Customer Service Standard was the first of the five standards identified by the Accessibility for Manitobans Act to be addressed. All faculty and staff must be trained to meet this standard by November 2017. As such, an online training session was created by the Post-Secondary Institutions Network in Manitoba.

This group is comprised of members from Assiniboine Community College, Brandon University, Red River College, University College of the North, University of Manitoba, University of Winnipeg, Canadian Mennonite University, Université de Saint-Boniface, and Manitoba Institute for Trades and Technology.  All these institutions will be using this same training for its staff and faculty.

These introductory customer service training modules serve as the foundation for training all staff and faculty with respect to the Accessibility for Manitobans Act, how to identify barriers in our work environment, and how these barriers affect our delivery of customer service to students, staff and the general public.  Additional training will be provided through workshops and sessions.

This online training is housed on Moodle. If you have not used Moodle before, simply follow the instructions provided in this link: How to use Moodle
