It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to another year of instruction through the Eckhardt-Gramatté Conservatory of Music at Brandon University. We are enormously proud of the efforts put forward by our community to adapt to so many changes in how we teach, learn, and play. We have all learned so much about how to communicate effectively and care for one another from a distance. In remote group classes, one-on-one lessons, workshops, and performances, we have kept developing our skills and exploring our unique musical interests.

Thanks to our partners at Brandon University’s School of Music, the Conservatory can offer increased in-person instruction this fall. We are grateful for your continued diligence, patience and understanding as the pandemic situation continues to evolve. We will continue to prioritize safety:

  • Any individual who feels unwell should not attend in-person instruction.
  • Masks are mandatory on campus spaces. BCC members will be provided with specialized singer masks for use in rehearsals.
  • Any changes to our in-person instruction protocols will be communicated to students, teachers, and families and updated on the Conservatory of Music’s website:

Congratulations to our 2019 graduates!

Laura Dyson graduated from Vincent Massey High School and is enrolled at the University of Saskatchewan.

Chloe Janse van Rensburg graduated from École secondaire Neelin High School and is enrolled at the University of Manitoba by distance.

Both Chloe and Laura were long-time members of the Brandon Conservatory Chorale.  Their leadership, dedication, musicality, motivation, beautiful voices, and smiling faces will be greatly missed.  We wish them every success in their new adventures.
