It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to another year of instruction through the Eckhardt-Gramatté Conservatory of Music at Brandon University.

Brandon University has announced a return to Phase Gold – this means that our campus spaces are largely open to the public. Vaccinations and masks are strongly encouraged, but no longer required in all areas.

For our Brandon Conservatory Chorale program, we look forward to returning to our familiar choral rehearsal room, furnished with the beautiful piano “Liz” donated in honour of BCC’s founding director Dr. Elizabeth Grant.

We will continue to prioritize safety:

  • Please stay home if you are sick or have been in contact with someone who is sick. Anyone displaying illness will be sent home. If you cannot attend in person, virtual lessons may be arranged with your teacher.
  • Wearing of masks is strongly encouraged and supported, wherever possible.
  • Any changes to our in-person instruction protocols will be communicated to students, teachers, and families and updated on the Conservatory of Music’s website: www.brandonu.ca/e-gre

Protocols for all choristers:

Congratulations to our 2019 graduates!

Laura Dyson graduated from Vincent Massey High School and is enrolled at the University of Saskatchewan.

Chloe Janse van Rensburg graduated from École secondaire Neelin High School and is enrolled at the University of Manitoba by distance.

Both Chloe and Laura were long-time members of the Brandon Conservatory Chorale.  Their leadership, dedication, musicality, motivation, beautiful voices, and smiling faces will be greatly missed.  We wish them every success in their new adventures.
