A great place to live, for BU and ACC students

Life in residence brings you the best of all worlds. Enjoy the comforts and conveniences of home when you join a fun and vibrant community of fellow students in BU residence.

Brandon University Residence is committed to providing an inclusive environment for all students, faculty/staff, and welcomed guests, providing a productive and respectful environment that fosters personal and academic growth. We respect and value the diversity of people, values, and beliefs and strive to preserve the dignity of others.

With four full-time employees in the Ancillary Services Office, which includes the Residence Hall Programs Office, we are able to meet your needs quickly and efficiently. In addition, our student staff are very capable and trained to help you out through evenings and weekends. Unlike many off-campus landlords, we are available!

Vaccine Policy

Updated November 19, 2021

It is the expectation that all students are fully immunized against COVID-19 with a Canadian approved vaccine in order to access the Brandon University campus. This includes Brandon University Residence.

Students need to claim their user ID prior to arrival.  Please follow the steps at

All students are required to upload their vaccination documentation to the Brandon University Vaccine Portal: Students can log into this portal using their User ID and password.

For students that received their vaccine outside of Canada, it is required that they obtain a Pan-Canadian or Manitoba QR code that verifies their vaccine status. To obtain this code, students must call the Manitoba Vaccine Call Center at 1-844-626-8222 as soon as possible, since it takes several weeks to process this verification code. There is no alternative website at this time.

Brandon University Residence will not provide quarantine for the purpose of COVID-19 travel guidelines set by the provincial and federal government. If it is determined that a student should be required to quarantine upon arrival to Brandon University campus, the student will need to seek hotel or other accommodations until their quarantine period ends. Brandon University Residence may assist in providing such arrangements when possible.

Any questions or concerns regarding their stay at Brandon University Residence can be directed to the Residence Manager, Derek Booth, at
