Arts, Science, Physical Education
Newly admitted students to the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science, and Physical Education Studies starting courses in September 2026 can book an advising appointment, plan their courses, and register by following the steps below.
Academic advising for first-year students is strongly recommended.

Step 2: New Student Advising Tutorial
Once you are logged into the New Student Advising Moodle Tutorial, you must watch the following 5 videos that are available in Moodle (time to completion: ~1 hour). This tutorial is important to review before meeting your academic advisor or planning and registering on your own. Students may be asked to reschedule an advising appointment if they have not prepared or reviewed the video tutorials.

- Familiarize yourself with the Course Registration Guide, and the Current Academic Calendar, and jot down any courses you think you might be interested in. Bring the list to your advising appointment.
- Academic advisors will discuss options with you. Advisors will not tell you what courses to take, nor will they describe each course.
