BU’s Online Black History Month Scavenger Hunt

Here’s a chance to learn a bit about Black History in Canada. Go on line to find the answers – or maybe you know them already.

2018 Online Scavenger Hunt Ballot

Once you have answered all the questions and filled in your contact information, you can submit your ballot and be entered to win one of these great books by Black Canadian Authors:

  • What We All Long For by Dionne Brand
  • They Never Told Me: And Other Stories by Austin Clarke
  • The Hanging of Angelique by Afua Cooper
  • Whylah Falls by George Elliott Clarke
  • Half Blood Blues by Esi Edugyan
  • The Book of Negroes by Lawrence Hill
  • Moving Forward Sideways Like a Crab by Shani Mootoo
  • From the Poplars by Cecily Nicholson
  • The Pain Tree by Olive Senior

Ballots can be dropped off in the Library, the Mingling Area, or can be emailed to diversity@brandonu.ca. Ballots must be in by February 23, and winners will be announced on February 28, 2017.
