Biography

Fiona Smith is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatric Nursing, Faculty of Health Studies. She came to Brandon University in 2002 with 20 years of clinical experience in community, emergency, out-patient and in-patient settings.

Research Interests

Fiona is interested in mixed methods approaches to understanding the experience of gender diverse persons: to facilitate family support, and to inform gender inclusive practices among health care providers.
