Biography
Tegan Nichol began her nursing career in 2005, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre; in the area of General Surgery until her move overseas in April 2010. Working at Brisbane Private Hospital in Brisbane, Australia; Tegan worked in a Coronary Care Unit, first as a staff nurse and then as a Level 2 Clinical Nurse (Charge Nurse). Upon her return to Brandon in January 2014, she returned to General Surgery before moving into the role of the Clinical Resource Nurse of 200 Surgery; which includes Orthopedic, Gynecology and Urology surgery. Tegan joined the University, Bachelor of Nursing Program as an Instructional Associate in August 2018.

Teaching and clinical Interests
Tegan’s teaching/clinical interests are in the clinical areas of Medical/Surgical Nursing as well as the Application of Skills and Health Assessment, both of which are taught in the lab.
