Virtual Pumpkin Carving Contest

Contest Rules

  • Registration Deadline: Tuesday, October 27th
  • Pumpkin Pick-Up: If you have requested a pumpkin, it will be available for pick-up at the Office of International Activities on October 29 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
  • Carving Time: Pumpkins must be carved during the one-hour live Zoom contest, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29.
  • Completion Requirements: All pumpkins must be hollowed out and include a freestanding light source (such as a flashlight or lit candle) to be considered complete.
  • Eligibility for Prizes: Only completed pumpkins will be eligible for prizes.
  • Bring Your Own Pumpkin: If you provide your own pumpkin, any size or variety is acceptable.
  • Judging: Judging will take place immediately after the contest at 7:00 p.m. Judges will evaluate entries based on creativity and spookiness.
