Anna Penno is a music educator based in Brandon, MB who teaches grades 9–12 concert and jazz ensembles at Crocus Plains Regional Secondary School (CPN Music). Part of her role involves leading the Brandon Community Band, and she is excited to begin her 10th season with the ensemble this fall. Anna holds both an undergraduate degree in Music Education from Brandon University and a Master of Music Education degree from Michigan State University. Anna is active in the Manitoba music community as a clinician, guest conductor, adjudicator, and performer. Currently, she serves on the Brandon University Jazz Festival steering committee and the International Music Camp CDN board of directors.
