Short Term Parking
Short term parking is available to anyone planning for shorter visits to Brandon University.
Casual or visitor parking is available at ticket dispenser lots (5, 6, and 10), metered areas, or by special permit in reserved areas.
On weekdays, between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm, all visiting vehicles on campus must be parked in public parking areas at a meter, Pay by Plate parking lot, or display a special permit or parking pass purchased from Parking Services.
How to purchase short term parking
When space Allows:
Monthly, weekly and daily parking passes are available. These parking passes must be purchased in person at the Ancillary Services office. Located on main floor of McMaster Hall. 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Hourly Options:
Pay by Plate Digital Hourly Parking (8 hour limit): Parking Lot 5, Lot 6 and Lot 10.
Digital meters accept coin, VISA, MasterCard, Debit and Apple Pay.
- Pay by Plate - Lot 5 – $1.00 per hour
- Pay by Plate - Lot 6 – $1.00 per hour
- Pay by Plate - Lot 10 – $1.50 per hour
Manual Coin Meters (2 hour limit): Parking lots 1, 2, 2A, and Louise Avenue
Manual coin meters require a minimum payment of $0.25 at every transaction. A time lapse of 30 seconds on the meter will trigger a new transaction minimum of $0.25.
Maximum time limit of 2 hours. Extra money added will not accrue time beyond 2 hours.
Manual Meters accept nickels, dimes, quarters, loonies and toonies. Toonies are accepted for convenience but will still only load a 2 hour maximum time limit.

Parking Hours of Enforcement
Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. There is no charge for parking in staff, student, meter and pay by plate areas after 4:30pm on weekdays, weekends and holidays.
