As of this fall, RDI has partnered with the Internet Society, Manitoba Chapter and fellow researchers from across Canada to work towards building connectivity resources for rural communities. The world of technology is everchanging, and it is important to RDI that the work we engage in continues to be action-focused.

- The Internet Society (ISOC) is a global organization focused on enhancing technological developments, economic development and social progress. With the vision to make Manitoba digitally inclusive and connected, the ISOC, Manitoba Chapter has worked to maintain open and transparent Internet and promote technological development across the province. Throughout this project, the RDI team has been collaborating with ISOC, Manitoba Chapter Executive Director, Joel Templeman.
