The “Newcomer Integration through Community Engagement in Brandon” project is a collaborative research initiative between the Rural Development Institute (RDI) and the Brandon Local Immigration Partnership (BLIP) of Westman Immigrant Services (WIS). The research engaged newcomers directly through Participatory Action Research to prioritize their top challenges they face in Brandon, Manitoba and provided actionable recommendations to enhance integration.
