Texthelp Read&Write and Orbitnote
Read&Write is a literacy support toolbar that offers assistance with tasks such as reading text out loud, understanding unfamiliar words, online research and proofreading written work. Orbitnote is the companion PDF viewer and annotation tool. The software and corresponding web extensions are available for download on personal devices and can be found on all campus lab computers.
Available free of charge for all Brandon University students, staff and faculty.
YuJa Panorama
YuJa Panorama helps you create accessible and personalized versions of your course materials in Moodle and beyond. You can listen to readings, adjust text and colours, translate materials, and organize accessible files in your personal space called the DocHub. The Website Accessibility Widget also lets you customize how university and Moodle pages look and function for easier reading and navigation.

Genio Notes (formerly Glean for Education)
Genio Notes is a tool to support note taking and learning. Genio Notes is a web-based program that is compatible with in-class recording as well as video conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams. With the ability to create notes, audio recordings, study cards, and task lists within one platform, Genio provides students with holistic support for effective note taking and studying.
Available at a low cost for students registered with SAS.
