  • She has an excellent skill set (otherwise known as “good hand”) and is very thorough, methodical and analytical
  • Danielle’s research project looks at one aspect of Bowen-Conradi Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder in the Hutterite Population of the Canadian Prairies
  • Danielle’s research is key to increasing our understanding of the disease mechanism of this disorder with the hope to someday be able to provide treatment options.
  • She presented her research in October 2023 Child Health Research Days in Winnipeg, the research conference of the Children’s Hospital Research Institute of MB.

To #BreaktheBias I have stepped WAY out of my comfort zone to share a small piece of my story on how I got to where I am today. If I inspire one woman to set out today to accomplish their wildest dreams, I believe I have done my part in inspiring the movement.
