Business Administration

The Department of Business Administration will not accept coursework that was taken in excess of 7 years ago.

Should you pursue a Business Administration major or minor, PLEASE seek guidance with the Chair of that department on the number of transfer credits that may be utilized for degree purposes.

The Business Administration Department requires that all courses transferred into any Business Administration major or minor program have a grade of “C” or better. Grades of less than “C” will be marked EXTRA.

Block Credit Transfer: Block transfer credit will be awarded upon successful completion of the Business Administration Diploma with a GPA of 3.0 or better and subject to department approval.  Students should have graduated no earlier than 5 years prior to the date of application.

Students successfully completing an approved two-year College Business diploma will receive block credit between 48 to 60 credit hours depending on course content at a ‘P’ grade or Pass. Economics (6 cr. hrs.) will be separated from the block and a letter grade assigned.  Statistics (3 cr. hrs) will be separated from the block and given a ‘P’ grade.   Finance will be separated from the block and give a ‘P’ grade if the course was part of the diploma program.
