Conservatory Special Awards

Special Awards are available for deserving Conservatory students showing financial need and recommended by their teachers. No audition is required. Completed application forms are due May 1 of each year, for funding to be applied towards studies during the fall of that calendar year. A list of awards is available at brandonu.ca/scholarships

  • All students applying for consideration for special awards must be recommended by their instructors.
  • Full disbursement of special awards funds is contingent upon recipients taking a complete year of study. What constitutes a full year of study is to be determined by the teacher and approved by the Conservatory Director.
  • Special awards may only be applied towards the following year’s lessons or classes as outlined by the award’s terms of reference.
  • The Eckhardt-Gramatté Conservatory of Music and the Scholarship Committee of the School of Music establishes criteria, rules and regulations which may be subject to change.
