Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program
The Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP) enables eligible Canadian post-secondary institutions to award scholarships to students from Latin America and the Caribbean undertaking short-term study or research in Canada.
Established by the Government of Canada in 2009, the program aims to foster the development of human capital and the next generation of leaders in the region, while strengthening Canada’s institutional partnerships and deepening people-to-people ties with the Americas. ELAP is funded by Global Affairs Canada
Study in Canada Scholarships
The Study in Canada Scholarships (SICS) offer Canadian post-secondary institutions the opportunity to host international students from a diverse range of countries and territories for short-term study or research exchanges. Funded by Global Affairs Canada, SICS aims to strengthen and diversify Canada’s international linkages and partnerships.
The new connections created through the program will diversify and enrich Canada’s education engagement with a diverse range of partners, strengthen bilateral ties, as well as deepen people-to-people ties and cultural connections between Canada and participating countries/territories
Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development
Scholarships for students from the member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to pursue short-term studies or research in Canada.
Canada-China Scholars’ Exchange Program
