Megan Teerhuis is a music educator originally from Rosenfeld, MB and currently living in Brandon, MB. She earned Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Education degrees from Brandon University in 2015. Megan continued her studies at BU, and graduated with a Master of Music (Performance & Literature) in 2017.

Megan has also performed extensively in Western Manitoba, playing trumpet and/or singing with groups including: Horns Tonight, Gone Tomorrow; Brandon University Big Band; Brandon University Symphonic Band; Brandon Community Band; The Allbums; and The Mark Humphries Orchestra, as well as in pit band for several musical productions.

Since 2017, Megan has taught band and English at Boissevain School in Boissevain, MB. She specializes in connecting with students and uses those connections to create meaningful musical memories and a lifelong appreciation of music and music-making among her students.
