Tom Ingram is a music theorist and clarinetist. His research focuses on the history of theories of meter and performance, especially in German-language music theory of the modern era. He is currently working on an annotated translation of the correspondence between Friedrich Nietzsche and the nineteenth-century Prussian music theorist Carl Fuchs. He holds a master’s degree in music theory from McGill University, and he has studied clarinet with Naoum Gomon and Simon Aldrich. Tom is thrilled to be teaching aural and keyboard skills at Brandon University this year.
