BU again under boil water advisory

UPDATE: The boil water advisory has been lifted

Brandon University is again included under a boil water advisory that has been issued for part of the City of Brandon.

We do not know how long the boil water advisory will be in effect. Until it is lifted:

• do not drink water from any campus sink, tap or fountain
• do not use campus water to wash food, to brush your teeth, or to make ice

The water remains safe for washing, including dishes and hand-washing, and washrooms are otherwise functional. Signs are being posted, and additional information can be found here.

Food Services will be open, with some limitations. In particular, items like fountain drinks and coffee will be unavailable during the boil water advisory.

When coming to campus, please bring your own water for drinking.
