What is Self-Care?

Self-care is whatever you want it to be.   For some, it is writing in a journal.  For others, it is meditating.  And others yet, it is binge-watching their favourite Netflix series.  The key aspect to self-care is taking the time to care for yourself.

By doing activities that bring calm and enjoyment, you are caring for yourself.  It fosters positive mental well-being and helps you to be resilient in times of stress and uncertainty.  When you are overwhelmed, you lack the energy to support others.  Caring for yourself allows you to handle challenges and adapt to change.
