Bachelor of Education (5 Year Integrated)

The Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education (5-Year Integrated) program is intended to serve students entering university with a clear professional goal in mind. This program is designed to prepare students as teachers in the early and middle years stream.  The Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education (5-Year Integrated) Degree will consist of 150 credit hours of coursework with 90 credit hours in the Faculty of Arts (Liberal Arts Distributed Major) and 60 credit hours in the Faculty of Education (Bachelor of Education) program. In order to complete the program in 5 years, students must complete 30 credit hours per year.  If desired, students have the option of completing their 90 credits in the Faculty of Arts on a part-time basis.

Students applying to the Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education (5-Year Integrated) program must meet the admission requirements of the Faculty of Arts. Students must obtain a 2.5 GPA prior to beginning the final year of the program.For more information contact the Faculty of Education.
