At Brandon University, we believe providing feedback and supporting development is integral to recruiting and retaining an engaged workforce. Performance management should be ongoing, consistent and transparent. Moreover, establishing individual objectives and development plans should help support the goals of employees, the department and overall goals of the University.

Performance management is the continuous process of providing feedback, setting objectives and establishing a development plan in an effort to support employees and position them for success in the University. The Performance Feedback and Development (PFD) plan resource is divided into three sections:

1) Feedback
2) Objectives
3) Development & Career Planning.

The collection of resources below provide managers and staff (administrative, management and support) the tools they need to engage in a meaningful process in support of growth and development.
